Lorena Galán, originally from Spain, has developed her career at the intersection of science and business. After earning a PhD in Medicine from Karolinska Institutet, she transitioned from biomedical research into business development in the biotech industry. Today, she works on building strategic partnerships that connect an innovative technology with opportunities, helping to develop novel therapeutic solutions.

Lorena is passionate about discovering and connecting people and ideas that make a positive impact. She has represented Swedish biotech at international events, fostering collaborations across borders. Beyond her professional life, she enjoys exploring Stockholm’s cultural scene, practicing lagree and taking dance classes.

Through TEDxStockholm her goal is to contribute to projects and ideas that inspire and empower others, as well as to create meaningful connections.
