Maryam is originally from Afghanistan and is now based in Stockholm. Her background is in journalism, storytelling, and women’s rights. Maryam has worked as a journalist and activist, and today she is an author and coach, helping women reclaim their stories, heal from shame, and find their voices. Maryam’s recent memoir, The Woman Who Refused to Be Silenced, is about identity, resilience, and what it means to rebuild your life in a new country.
