Storyteller, documentary photographer and TEDx speaker

Sanna Sjöswärd is an award-winning documentary photographer and author with a deep passion for storytelling that touches the soul. Through both images and words, she explores identity, belonging and human experiences, often highlighting voices that are rarely heard.

Her work has been exhibited in churches, at Fotografiska in Stockholm, and during Almedalen Week. Her books Roots and My Mother is a Persian Princess have received wide recognition and reflect her personal journey, origin and identity. As a TEDx Stockholm speaker in 2022, she shared her story and the power of embracing vulnerability.
