Mounia Borg is an ESG Expert with sustainability expertise to support the development of sustainable AI methods and drive the integration of social, environmental and governance (ESG). She is also the head of operational activities, coordinating PR and communications strategy. Mounia collaborates with other functions to contribute to internal knowledge and best-practice sharing as she believes that addressing sustainability issues is an inherently interdisciplinary call to action.

 

Mounia is a former Diplomat who, along with other roles, was stationed at Stockholm and Riga as Counsellor for political and trade affairs. She also has background from the academia as she is completing her PhD in business administration with focus on business ethics and sustainability, and from the private sector, having worked on FinTech corporate governance.

 

Mounia holds a Master of Science from Uppsala University in business and economics  with specialisation in sustainable management and a Master of Art in cultural studies and identities.
