Ángela is originally from Spain and moved to Stockholm in the summer of 2021 to study the MSc Global Health at Karolinska Institutet.

She is a people’s person who enjoys making people laugh -that’s why she’s still pursuing her dream of becoming a professional hospital clown-. Besides, she loves travelling, exploring, and interact with other cultures.

Ángela has been working as a Primary Healthcare nurse in Spain and has been volunteering in Nepal with a Spanish NGO. She is fluent in 3 languages and a half -Swedish is still in progress-. Currently she has been working as a research assistant at the Global Public Health Department at Karolinska Institutet.

Being part of TEDx means for her to develop new creative challenges and most important, in a good and fun teamwork environment.
