Vani is a world traveller, always looking to be out of the comfort zone to explore new and different ideas and perspective. Being close to new, exciting ideas is what brought her to TEDxStockholm, and the firm conviction that spreading these ideas has the power to change people and the potential to make a positive impact in the world.

She has a passion for numbers and science, and a special place in her heart is hold by gender studies. As a matter of fact, she tries her best to be an equity champion everywhere she lands. Apart from science, she loves reading novels, leaning new languages and visual arts, with painting being a fav. Last but not least, one of her biggest passions are cooking and baking bread; she is a strong believer in the power of food to bring people together. As a matter of fact, cooking and sharing a meal is how she built the strongest bonds in her life.

While travelling between Spain, Portugal and Sweden, she got her PhD in computational chemistry and, today, she can cultivate her passion for numbers working as a data scientist in the cybersecurity field.
